Today, we celebrate African creation which is the Aso Ebi. I got a call and also saw another surprise proposal of an Aunt on Facebook and the first thing that jumped to my mind was Aso ebi. Not long after, another friend called concerning buying her Asoebi material and I was like "sure", but with the huge reminder pangs of - gbese *debt* climbing my head little by little.
But despite debt creeping in little by little, that's the whole fun and stressful part of it. We all go to weddings every Saturday, we all go to slay, some of us go for the food and gift though *guilty cough* but in the end we all make it through and slaying flawlessly of course!
So this is in celebration of who we are, a celebration and symbolisation of that which has made our weddings, naming ceremonies, weekend Owambe's and even dedications uniquely recognised all over the world, a celebration of the ASO EBI.
